We should develop a soil moisture sensor with a control back to an electronic water valve (with hysteresis!) to automate the process.

Chives are very hardy and spread everywhere if planted outdoors. Actually it is very difficult to get rid of them. Basil and rosemary are also very hardy. Great job.

Birds were able to escape unharmed...YEAH!! The hawk came swooping in just as they were feeding on the suet and hanging out on the bird house and bushes.
