On the left is Bare Mountain, just behind it is Mount Hitchcock. On the right side of the picture at the base of Bare Mountain is the former Strategic Air Command (SAC) bunker which closed down in the mid 70's.

Overlooking the eastern section of the Holyoke Range from the top of Mt. Norwottuck. Long Mountain, the eastern most of the chain is about a two mile walk from here.

Looking north at the Amherst area. This is the highest point of Mt. Norwottuck which stands at an impressive (for this area anyways) 1,106 feet. Mt. Norwottuck is the tallest mountain in the Holyoke Range.

Up the hill on the left is the quarry, beyond the hill and across Rt. 116 stands Bare Mountain at 1,006 feet.
