Coming up on "Survivor:  Holyoke Range", meet our two tribes:  The Guineas, and the Skinnys!

When we were sliding down that cliff I wasn't feeling anything.  My knees should have hurt from smashing them on rocks several times throughout the day.  I had snow and ice in my face and falling down my back and barely noticed it.  This was truly "survival mode".

I was actually toasty warm for the whole hike. Thank god for coolmax lined long johns and GoreTex. The only time I got cold was sliding down the CLIFF when we went off the trail to get down to Rt47.
