Wounded in combat, Navy doctors determined that they could not remove the shrapnel in Seaman Muto's ears, without also removing his devilish good looks.  Needless to say, the shrapnel stayed.

Too bad I wasn't wearing my giant gold male symbol necklace, then the whole moustache and open shirt look would have obviously come together.  You can see the whole look in my 2001 films "Connecticunt River", "Whale Nail VI", and "Doing Sullivan Lane".
