All twin-screw trucks that I've been in have a power divider that will lock the front and rear axles to one another. The trucks at UFP all have differential locks as well... so you can lock all 8 tires in at once.

I have a question for you guys.  Do all tractors with twin-axle rears have the option to lock the power divider on tractors?  Because I've seen em get stuck and they are not locked.

Trucks get stuck all the time at my place.  I'll bring my cam to work tomorrow.  During last year's storm around this time there was a truck and two vans stuck. Out the other window 3-4 cars stuck at any given moment all afternoon.

I actually tried to just put one set of chains on at first. I've got full locking rears and I was trying to be lazy. I spit the chains off and had to put the originals back on plus the other ones.
