Oh Captain my Captain... of "Wilson" of course. Wilson was a U.S. Navy Mark II PBR (evident by the giant flag in other pictures) stationed at FOB Can Tho, in the Republic of Vietnam 1967-68. This picture was taken in 1968, just outside of Chau Doc on the Cambodian border, having just deployed Navy SEALs during a Phoenix Program sweep for Viet Cong in a nearby village. |
